I love all these films/franchises! Horror is my favorite genre and I love to chat with you guys about it!
Sadly The Grudge and The Ring were both white-washed. I have not seen these remakes as I deem them unnecessary and highly offensive.
I do not support Stanley Kubrick and only continue to buy material related to The Shinning to support the actors he tortured. Stanley is dead and I do not blame his remaining family. I do not mean to separate Stanley from The Shinning and am willing to talk to anybody about his flaws who is interested. As good as a film it was we have to acknowledge what happened and take it very seriously. Please feel free to ask questions about this if you feel it necessary.
